# Pelles where you work. Microsoft 365 and Chrome.

01 Excel Add-in

## Your sheet, with the project behind it. The agent fills it in.

Open Pelles AI from the Home tab and chat beside your workbook. Pelles reads the sheet you’re on and your project’s documents, answers in the pane, and makes the edits in the workbook itself.

(Illustration: Excel with the Pelles AI pane open beside a feeder schedule. Asked to fill in the breakers, conductors and conduit from the single-line drawing, Pelles reads the sheet, searches the project's drawings, fills nine feeders and shades the two that aren't on the drawing.)

Play again

- **Reads the workbook** The sheet you’re on, your selection and every tab, then any range it needs: values, formulas and formats.
- **Edits it for you** Fills cells and ranges, formats them, inserts and deletes rows, copies ranges and adds sheets.
- **Grounded in the project** Pick a project, or @mention one, a company document or a calculator.
- **Your agents** Chat with the Pelles Agent or any agent your company runs. Excel chats keep their own history.

**How to set it up** You, or your Microsoft 365 admin for everyone

1. Get PellesAI from Microsoft Marketplace, or search for it under Add-ins in Excel.
2. To roll it out for everyone, your Microsoft 365 admin adds it from Settings → Integrated apps in the admin center.
3. Select Open Pelles AI on the Home tab and sign in with your Pelles account.

02 Outlook Add-in

## The email, checked against the project. The reply, drafted.

Open Pelles AI on any email. It reads the message you have open, checks it against your project’s drawings and specs, and drafts the reply for you to insert, reply with or save to Drafts. It never sends anything.

(Illustration: Outlook with the Pelles AI pane open on an email from the general contractor asking to confirm a feeder size. Pelles reads the email, checks the project's single-line drawing, finds the email cites the old revision, and drafts a reply with Reply with this, Save to Drafts and Copy buttons. The reply opens as a draft; nothing is sent.)

Play again

- **Reads the email you’re on** Subject, sender, recipients and the message, and the text you highlight while you write.
- **Checks it against the project** Pick the project, or @mention one, and Pelles answers from its documents.
- **Drafts, never sends** Insert it into your email, reply with it, copy it, or save the reply to Drafts.
- **Follows you** Pin the pane and it moves with you from email to email.

**How to set it up** You, or your Microsoft 365 admin for everyone

1. Get Pelles AI from Microsoft Marketplace, or search for it under Get Add-ins in Outlook.
2. To roll it out for everyone, your Microsoft 365 admin adds it from Settings → Integrated apps in the admin center.
3. Open an email, select Open Pelles AI and sign in with your Pelles account.

03 Teams App

## Ask Pelles in Teams. In a chat or the project channel.

Add Pelles AI to Teams and message it like a teammate: one-on-one, or @mentioned in a team channel, where it reads the recent conversation for context. Choose which of your agents answers, and let agents message you when the work is done.

(Illustration: A Microsoft Teams channel for the project. A foreman asks about the firestop requirement where cable tray crosses a rated corridor wall, a colleague @mentions Pelles AI, and Pelles answers in the thread from the spec and the detail sheet, with a summary card. Later, an agent sends the project manager a Teams message about the schedule.)

Play again

- **Chats and channels** Message Pelles one-on-one, or @mention it in a team channel.
- **Knows the channel** In a channel it reads the recent conversation and who’s on the team, so you can ask about the thread.
- **Pick the agent** Type agents to switch to any agent your company runs. Each chat keeps its own.
- **Agents reach you here** Your agents can message you in Teams with what they found.

**How to set it up** You, or your Teams admin for everyone

1. In Teams, open Apps and search for Pelles AI, or get it from Microsoft Marketplace.
2. Message Pelles AI and sign in with your Pelles account.
3. Add it to a team to @mention it in that team’s channels.
4. To roll it out, your Teams admin can pin it for everyone with a setup policy.

04 Chrome Extension

## The bid documents on the page, in your project in one click.

Open a GC’s bid page, a plan room or an email in Chrome and click Pelles. It finds the documents on the page and the ones you just downloaded, and sends the files you pick to your Pelles project. Then ask Pelles about the page, right beside it.

(Illustration: Google Chrome on the general contractor's bid page for the project, with its six bid documents and a second tab open on Pelles. The Pelles extension is open from the toolbar: it found the Pelles project for the page and lists six files, three already in Pelles and three new, including a ZIP just downloaded from the site. Send sends the three new files, and they show as added to the project.)

Play again

- **Finds the documents** The files on the page, and what you just downloaded from the same site. ZIP files are unpacked.
- **Sends only what’s new** Files Pelles already has are skipped, so an addendum adds only its new files.
- **Gmail, links and the page** Send Gmail attachments, right-click a link or a PDF, or save the page itself as a PDF.
- **Ask about the page** Open the side panel and ask about the page or one of its files: “When are questions due?”

**How to set it up** You, or your IT team for everyone

1. Get Pelles from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to the toolbar.
2. Sign in to Pelles in a Chrome tab and keep it open. The extension uses that sign-in.
3. On a page with bid documents, click Pelles, pick the files and send them to your project.

Runs on

Google Chrome on Windows and Mac

You’ll need

A Pelles account in your company

Good to know

The first time you send from a new site, Chrome asks to let Pelles download from it.

For IT

## Installed from the official stores. Scoped to the work in front of you.

Get Excel, Outlook and Teams from Microsoft Marketplace and the extension from the Chrome Web Store, or have your admin roll them out for everyone. Each person uses their Pelles account and sees only what they can already open in Pelles. **Here’s what each one can reach.**

Product What it can reach How it reaches your people

Excel add-in Reads and edits the workbook that’s open, when someone asks it to. Microsoft Marketplace, or your admin from Integrated apps

Outlook add-in Reads the email that’s open, not the mailbox. Writes only into a draft. Microsoft Marketplace, or your admin from Integrated apps

Teams app Reads channel messages and members in the teams it’s added to, approved team by team. Microsoft Marketplace and the Teams app store, or your Teams admin

Chrome extension The tab it’s clicked on, and only then. It asks before downloading from a new site. The Chrome Web Store, or force-installed by your IT team

- **Every answer cites its page.** Open the sheet or section behind any answer, report line or change.
- **Your permissions, inherited.** People see the projects and documents they can already open, nothing more.
- **Your team stays in charge.** Agents draft the RFI, the change event or the update for your team to review, and use only the systems you give them.

## What teams ask before they install.

Do I need a Pelles account to use them?

Yes. Excel, Outlook, Teams and the Chrome extension each use your Pelles account in your company, and show the projects, documents and agents you already have in Pelles. It’s the same Pelles everywhere, with the same project knowledge behind every answer.

Who installs the Excel and Outlook add-ins?

Anyone can get them from Microsoft Marketplace (PellesAI for Excel, Pelles AI for Outlook), unless your company limits add-ins. To roll them out for everyone, your Microsoft 365 admin adds them from Settings → Integrated apps in the admin center, for people, groups or the whole company; Microsoft can take up to a day to show them. We can walk your IT team through it.

Can the Outlook add-in read my whole mailbox?

No. The add-in reads the email you have open, and writes only into a reply or draft you can see. It never sends email for you. If you connect your Microsoft account in Pelles, you can also save replies straight to Drafts.

Will the Excel add-in change my spreadsheet?

When you ask it to. The agent edits the workbook you have open: it fills cells and ranges, formats them, inserts and deletes rows, copies ranges and adds sheets. Ask it questions about the sheet and it just answers.

How do we add Pelles to Microsoft Teams?

Search for Pelles AI under Apps in Teams, or get it from Microsoft Marketplace, then message it and sign in with your Pelles account. Add it to a team to @mention it in channels, and your Teams admin can pin it for everyone. Group chats and files aren’t supported yet.

What does the Chrome extension send to Pelles?

Only what you choose. It does nothing on a page until you click it. Then it lists the documents it found, and sends the files you pick to your Pelles project, skipping the ones Pelles already has. The first time you send from a site, Chrome asks you to allow it.

Can IT install the Chrome extension for everyone?

Yes. Your IT team can force-install it from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to the toolbar, with the Google Admin console, Intune or Group Policy. The extension ID is pbkaebaaiemkaodajefipekmlbpobkbh, and we can walk your IT team through it.

Which versions does it run on?

Excel on Windows, Mac and the web; Outlook on the web and on Windows; Microsoft Teams, in one-on-one chats and team channels; and Google Chrome on Windows and Mac.

Is it secure?

It’s the same Pelles behind each one: SOC 2 Type II attested and never trained on your content. Each add-in shows you only the projects and documents you can already open in Pelles.
