What teams ask before they install.

Do I need a Pelles account to use them?

Yes. Excel, Outlook, Teams and the Chrome extension each use your Pelles account in your company, and show the projects, documents and agents you already have in Pelles. It’s the same Pelles everywhere, with the same project knowledge behind every answer.

Who installs the Excel and Outlook add-ins?

Anyone can get them from Microsoft Marketplace (PellesAI for Excel, Pelles AI for Outlook), unless your company limits add-ins. To roll them out for everyone, your Microsoft 365 admin adds them from Settings → Integrated apps in the admin center, for people, groups or the whole company; Microsoft can take up to a day to show them. We can walk your IT team through it.

Can the Outlook add-in read my whole mailbox?

No. The add-in reads the email you have open, and writes only into a reply or draft you can see. It never sends email for you. If you connect your Microsoft account in Pelles, you can also save replies straight to Drafts.

Will the Excel add-in change my spreadsheet?

When you ask it to. The agent edits the workbook you have open: it fills cells and ranges, formats them, inserts and deletes rows, copies ranges and adds sheets. Ask it questions about the sheet and it just answers.

How do we add Pelles to Microsoft Teams?

Search for Pelles AI under Apps in Teams, or get it from Microsoft Marketplace, then message it and sign in with your Pelles account. Add it to a team to @mention it in channels, and your Teams admin can pin it for everyone. Group chats and files aren’t supported yet.

What does the Chrome extension send to Pelles?

Only what you choose. It does nothing on a page until you click it. Then it lists the documents it found, and sends the files you pick to your Pelles project, skipping the ones Pelles already has. The first time you send from a site, Chrome asks you to allow it.

Can IT install the Chrome extension for everyone?

Yes. Your IT team can force-install it from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to the toolbar, with the Google Admin console, Intune or Group Policy. The extension ID is pbkaebaaiemkaodajefipekmlbpobkbh, and we can walk your IT team through it.

Which versions does it run on?

Excel on Windows, Mac and the web; Outlook on the web and on Windows; Microsoft Teams, in one-on-one chats and team channels; and Google Chrome on Windows and Mac.

Is it secure?

It’s the same Pelles behind each one: SOC 2 Type II attested and never trained on your content. Each add-in shows you only the projects and documents you can already open in Pelles.

Pelles, in the tools your team already opens.

In 30 minutes we’ll show Pelles in Excel, Outlook, Teams and Chrome on a real project, then set it up with your IT team.
